When will your products be available?
We have started production! However quantities are extremely limited as we scale up. We will be able to take pre-orders by mid-July. Thank you for your patience, and please sign up for our mailing list to stay informed.
What does Allergy-Friendly mean?
At NIKIGO, Allergy-Friendly means that none of our products contain any of the top 9 major food allergens identified by the FDA: soy, wheat (gluten), peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, milk, eggs, fish or crustacean shellfish. It also means we will be transparent about what our products DO contain, with no mystery ingredients like “natural flavors” which could be just about anything.
Does your manufacturing facility make products that contain major food allergens?
Our interim manufacturing facility currently makes products containing dairy, soy and fish. All equipment will be thoroughly cleaned prior to manufacturing our products, and our products will be tested for allergens prior to shipment. Later this year production will move to a brand new facility that will not process any products that contain any of the top 9 major food allergens. That facility is currently in the process of obtaining certification as an allergen-free facility, which is a lengthy process, taking several months to obtain.
Should the products be refrigerated?
Our products are shelf-stable until opened. After opening, please keep refrigerated. We do not use preservatives, therefore we do not recommend leaving products at room temperature for extended periods, as is common with traditional soy sauce.
What kind of mushrooms do you use?
We use a variety of fresh, sustainable mushrooms which may include white button, cremini, portobello or shiitake. The vast majority are grown within a mile of our manufacturing facility. Nothing could be fresher!
What is your return policy?
As a food product, we are not able to offer any returns for opened products. If there is any problem with a product received, such as an incorrect product, please let us know and we’ll do our best to make it right.
