
Quick Ramen
Inspired by Japanese mentsuyu, NIKIGO Noodle Sauce makes an incredible base for making a great ramen broth, or kaketsuyu, but with no soy, fish or other top 9 allergens.
Serves 4
INGREDIENTS
½ -1 cup NIKIGO Noodle Sauce
6 cups of water or broth (Use more Noodle Sauce with water and less with broth)
4 servings of noodles, which varies by noodle type (refer to package), favorites include Lotus Foods Millet and Brown Rice Ramen, Miracle Noodle (any of their varieties), soba noodles (100 percent buckwheat noodles are gluten free), prepared according to package instructions.
Optional Add-ins:
Sliced green onions
Thinly sliced collard greens, or green of choice
Sliced bok choi or similar
Protein of choice, personal favorites include crispy pork belly, or thinly sliced blanched chicken
Chili flake
DIRECTIONS:
In a large pot add NIKIGO Noodle Sauce, broth or water, and bring to a boil. In individual bowls, add prepared noodles and any extra items you may wish to include, such as green onions. When the broth is boiling, ladle it over the noodles and enjoy this warm comforting bowl of noodle soup.
